Tagged!

Each player of this game starts out by giving 6 weird things about themselves. People who get tagged need to write in the blog of their own, 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you need to choose 5 people to be tagged and list their names. After you do that, leave them a comment letting them know you tagged them and to read your blog!

After this, you're all gonna know my secrets/bad habits, sigh...

1. I was an avid nail biter and still am...(Help me change, pls!)

2. I dream every single night

3. I can be really talkative at one moment and otherwise at the next

4. I love curry chicken a lot...can even eat it everyday

5. I'm scared of dogs too, Sen Ming...(How?)

6. Sometimes, I feel/sense a figure standing/something moving at the corner of my eye but
nothing's really there

I tag the two Mings (Wen Ming and Hwei-Ming) since the other Ming tagged me.

Hahahahahaha...

Happy birthday

Today was probably the most "havoc" day in the history of my working life which is like not even two weeks. We celebrated 2 of our colleagues birthdays; one from our department and another from another department. So, we had 2 types of cakes; one for each.

I asked my superior if they do celebrate every year, she said they celebrate every staff's birthday. She asked me when's mine and I replied that I most probably won't be around at that time. Sigh...no cakes for me then :(

Then during lunch, we went to 1 Utama (wanted to visit you, Clare but don't know where your shop is) and ate at Jack's Place (near Nando's). It's newly open I think, haven't been there till today. Most of us ate the Wednesday set lunch in which the main course is chicken and there were soup, coffee and even ice cream!
How cool is that! That set costs RM 13.80 only.

I was really really full, like to the brim. My superior joked that I'd better not key in the wrong figures into the cmputer later after lunch. I was smiling and laughing to myself the whole time by just listening to them. Where our lunch break was supposed to be from 1-2 pm, we went back to the office nearly close to 3. Some of my colleagues even thought of shopping for shoes before we left 1U, hehe.

Oh yea, my superior showed me her family photo from her computer and I saw her daughter. "Don't look like me also," I thought. "Don't really look like you hor?" she said as if reading my thoughts.

Overall, I think I had a pretty good time today. I guess my working condition isn't as boring as yours huh, Clare :) Come, join me, work in GSC.

"Make it a better place for you and for me and the entire human race. There are..."

Ok, I better stop here before I get killed, tsk.

I'm in love...

Hah, the title must have attracted your attention.

In actual fact, I'm in love with this song called "Way back into love" taken from

It's so nice that I'm hearing it over and over again. I haven't watched the movie yet though.

Thanks to a friend of mine who actually introduced me to this song. (Finally, you and I have the same taste.)

All in a week's work

I'm proud to say that I've completed a week's work.

Everyday in the office it seems like my work is ongoing eventhough one task takes up a few hours.
This is probably because, after completing a task, I'll ask my other superior for more work. Weird? Yea, that's me.

I'll feel guilty for just sitting around in the office, not doing anything. Haha. So, this explains why I keep saying that I'm busy, busy, busy. It keeps me going.

Anyway, talking about my superior, it came to me that she happens to smile a lot to me. I don't know if it's a good or bad thing, but it happened so often that I find her kinda freaky. Besides that, I think she's pretty harmless.
If it's once in a while, it's fine with me. But she smiles to me most of the time, which is freaky. She said that I resemble her daughter who's a year older and recently bought a new pair of specs which looks like mine. Even the other colleagues from other departments thought I was her daughter and wanted to approach me. Seeing that I did not recognise any of them, they realise they've got the wrong girl. Hehe.

Tomorrow's back to work again, my second week. Don't know what's in store for me this week.

Have a blessed week, y'all!

Blog,blog,blog

Hey people! I'm back after a long break, like a month. In case you didn't know, I couldn't go online and blog because my modem was down with "fever" and had to be treated for at least a month.
Lol, ok..I know I'm lame. Still the same ol' Stacey...:)

Anyways, since I couldn't go online at that time, I was uber bored. No internet for a month, arrgh...Yes, I was suffering definitely.
The times when some of you might have seen me on msn once or twice was because I was using my father's phone until his got disconnected too.
I'm like jinxed.
So, thankfully the modem came back yesterday, unfortunately at the wrong time.
Why at all times, the modem had to be ready yesterday when I'd just started my first day of work.Yes work..., you read it correctly.
Stacey's a big girl now and has started her first job in GSC, not as a ticket lady standing at the counter for 7 hours, but in the accounts dept. I only knew which department I'm in yesterday, on my first day.
This job was actually recommended by a friend last week since I couldn't tahan staying at home staring at 4 corners of the wall.
My first day at work was a definite busy one. My heart goes out to those working in any of the accounts department (you know who you are).
For a part time worker, I seriously think I'm underpaid - RM 4 per hour. The funny thing is that I don't seem to mind..except for the amount of workload.
And yesterday itself, I worked for 10 hours straight from 9 am to 8 pm and I barely took any breaks in-between.
The first half of the day was ok, but in the second half, my shoulders started to ache as I sat in front of the computer keying journals for 6 hours. As I was doing this and withstanding the aches, a song from "The Beatles" came into my mind. It sounded like this,

"It's been a hard day night. And I've been working like a dog..."

The reason why I had to stay back was because it's the beginning of the month and they had to clear the accounts for February. My usual hour is from 9 am to 5 pm.

As yesterday my eyes were filled with numbers (keying in the journals into the computer), today, all I saw were papers.
My job today was to sort out what they call as AP cheques, in their respective cheque numbers.
Thus, there was a whole stack of papers on my desk in which I took about 3-4 hours sorting them out. Uh-huh.
I managed to talk my superior out in letting me go off earlier at 6 pm although she was a little hesitant at first.

Overall, I think I can survive in this job and hopefully am able to hold on for 2 months.
It's not that bad actually.

Afterall, I'm there for the experience, not for the money...but of course I wanna be paid too.
